STN TFS and Red Bird Camp Collective
Hi STN Crew!
I hope that you are doing well. Melodi and Will, it was nice to catch you for a brief moment during the Zoom meeting. Can’t wait to see you in person.
I’m reaching out to inquire about using the STN building for Huckleberry Camp on Tuesday, July 7th and Wednesday, July 8th, 2026. This is a project that I’ve spoken to Melodi about, but it’s an official event hosted by Red Bird Camp Collective.
We would love to use the big building for our place-based, Indigenous retreat focused on food sovereignty. I have more details about the event, which I can share with you. I apologize for not keeping both of you in the loop, Will and Penny. I’ve mostly been talking to Melodi and Lynette!
I am anticipating about 30-40 people out at the big building on Tuesday, July 7th for a dinner catered by PowWaw Food, a Stickgame demonstration/game, and just kind of relaxing and hanging out. Wednesday would involve coming out to the space for a debrief/creative writing exercise and lunch catered by Fireweed Baking.
If this sounds like something that would be permissible at the building, please let me know. I would love to get a quote for the space rental.
