

Monthly Community Meetings
The coalition meets once a month to identify community issues that need to be addressed before they become overwhelming. The coalition includes representatives from public safety, STN, tribal health, Wellpinit school district, and other departments from tribal administration.
Strengthening Families
This is a family management class that parents and youth attend together for 7 weeks to increase their communications skills and family bonding. This is a nationally recognized curriculum and is designed to be delivered to local communities for groups of 7-12 families.


SPORT (Substance use Prevention Optimizing Robust Teens) Prevention Plus Wellness (PPW)
SPORT PPW is the nation’s only easy-to-use, single-session substance use prevention program designed to increase fitness, health, and performance-enhancing behaviors like physical activity, sports participation, healthy eating, getting adequate sleep, and practicing stress control for youth.
Gathering of Native Americans (GONA)
GONA is a journey of healing and transformation that is about healing the past and building the future through a culture-based planning process that fosters a sense of belonging, mastery, interdependence, and generosity through community-focused activities. STN provides training for the youth.


Cultural Mentoring
STN manages the mentoring program for youth by matching youth who need mentors with adults who can and are able to mentor. STN coordinates monthly activities for young people and mentors to participate in and learn together.
