History of Spokane Tribal Network

STN is an independent entity apart from the sovereign nation of the Spokane Tribe of Indians (STOI) and leverages its non-profit status to bring additional funding and programs into the Spokane Tribal communities. STN has grown and evolved to launch and support several health and wellness initiatives that provide programming, services, and activities for the communities it serves. STN’s programming overlaps and includes many of the Plateau Indigenous traditions, teachings, and ceremonies to incorporate culture-centered activities, including family and youth well-being, food sovereignty, indigenous birth justice, and community engagement.
