Spokane Tribal Network
Dedicated to empowering the youth of all people through educational opportunities, cultural preservation, and community engagement. We believe that every child deserves access to resources and mentorship that will help them reach their full potential.
Visibility and awareness
In alignment with the vision and mission, STN utilizes a systems-based viewpoint to collaborate and build partnerships. As appropriate, STN will play the best role for the greatest impact, whether as a lead, collaborator, partner, consultant, or other. We create meaningful connections, and inspire individuals to take positive action.
Community wellness
The STN will strive to achieve inter-generational wellness and resilience within the Spokane Tribal community. Promoting a healthy lifestyle through exercise, balanced nutrition, stress management, and social support. Giving kids a sense of belonging, social cohesion, and collective responsibility for the well-being of all members.
Fostering youth leadership
STN will support Native youth to gain their voice about issues, expand and explore their creative skills, and build self-esteem to feel empowered. Creating youth-led initiatives, mentoring programs, and community service projects that allow young people to take on meaningful roles and responsibilities, and make a positive impact on their communities.
